Power Transmission Department Counter Clerk
Mechanical Designer

Controls Engineer

  • Wait on Cross Bros. retail customers
  • Construct hydraulic hoses to customer specifications
  • Keep stock inventory items put away in an orderly and timely fashion
  • Assist purchasing to insure optimum stock inventory levels
  • Keep product information up to date at the counter area
  • Assist belt shop and plow blade section with pending customer orders
  • Maintain housekeeping (5- S method) of the stock inventory and customer service areas
  • Keep retail area and parts warehouse trash receptacles emptied
  • Receive and maintain OHSA fork lift certification
  • Have a working knowledge of Cross Bros. product offerings and be able to assist customers with technical applications
  • Assist the power transmission department inside sales- take customer phone inquiry’s and initiate orders
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Responsibilities:
  • Become knowledgeable of the power transmission department inventory
  • Learn the Encompix computer system
  • Learn the technical applications of the power transmission department product offerings
  • Develop an understanding of recommended inventory levels- make suggestions as necessary
  • Maintain a safe work place
  • Cross train in all area’s (shipping, belt shop and blade shop)

Mechanical Designer/Engineer
Our Systems Engineering Group specializes in providing integrated material handling systems using conveyors, packaging equipment, robotics, electrical/controls, and other end-of-line manufacturing process equipment.
We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Designer to assist with providing solutions to our customers. Duties include developing design concepts for quoting and the completion of the mechanical designs for our projects in a professional, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
  • Assist Sales team with developing design concepts
  • Completing the design and detail of machinery and associated equipment as well as system layouts
  • Ability to work with our Project Managers and the design team
  • Maintain designs within our budgets and project schedules
  • Willing to travel – approximately 10 – 20%
Required:
  • AAS or B.S. in Electro-Mechanical Engineering
  • 3-5 years minimum experience in machine design and/or material handling systems
  • Experience in AutoCAD & Autodesk Inventor
  • MS Word and Excel
  • Effective verbal, written communication skills

Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to assist with providing solutions to our customers. Duties include both quote development and managing systems orders in a professional, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
  • Assist Sales team members with developing systems quotes
  • Manage systems jobs including order entry, engineering design, fabrication/assembly, installation, and start-up
  • Manage project budgets and schedules for maintain project goals and objectives
  • Coordinate design team, vendors, and subcontractors
  • Willing to travel – approximately 10 – 20%
Required:
  • B.S. Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
  • 3 years minimum experience
  • AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor
  • MS Project

Control Engineer
Our Systems Engineering Group specializes in providing integrated material handling projects using conveyors, packaging equipment, robotics, electrical/controls, and other end-of-line manufacturing process equipment.
We are looking for an experienced Controls Engineer to lead our Electrical Department. Duties include developing estimates for quoting, hardware/software design, build, installations and debug of industrial controls systems for our projects in a professional, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
  • Assist the sales and applications team in developing electrical specifications for system applications and quotes.
  • Design/specify electrical, pneumatic hardware and software for automated machines and material handling systems.
  • Design control software for PLC’s, HMI’s and robotic applications (A&B / Siemens).
  • Coordinate the Electrical Controls designs through order entry, engineering, fabrication, assembly, installation, and start-up. This will include working directly with customers, project management, suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Install, debug and commission automated machines and conveyors systems at customer facilities.
  • Write machine functional specifications and manuals.
  • Manage project budgets and schedules for maintain project goals and objectives
  • Willing to travel – approximately 15 – 20% as needed.

Required:

  • A.A.S. or B.S. Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology or Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technology.
  • 5 years minimum experience
  • AutoCAD
  • Excel, Word, MS Project
  • Knowledge and experience in a broad area of industrial controls hardware, software and applications.
