Material handling systems application specialist

Job Description:

Outside Sales Support
• Assist in the preparation of major project proposals

1. Gather material & labor cost estimates for quoting purposes.
2. Work in AutoCAD/Inventor/Simulation needs
3. Prepare word documents for salesperson review & approval
          • Schedule and maintain quote completion dates
          • Project manage buyout orders
          • Field customer service calls: evaluate, resolve or involve salesperson/PM

General

1. Field all “blind” RFQs
2. Review & assign to outside salesperson
3. Based on outside salesperson’s schedule make initial visit of a regional prospect if necessary
4. Project manage all buyout projects
5. Evaluate new potential vendors of components and services
6. Assist in project handoffs.
